Amy works with pleated textiles and hand-stitching primarily. She has developed knowledge of fabric capabilities within the pleating process working closely with one of the few bespoke pleaters left in the U.K.
She has taken on projects designing textiles for a window display at Nourbel and Le Cavelier at London’s Burlington Arcade and this is an area she is developing currently within the spectrum of Interior Design and Architecture.
A Permanent Window Display to launch the first UK store for Nourbel and Le Cavelier in Burlington Arcade (2012). The commission was for thirty-five handmade pleated fans in silk organza. This brief was in conjunction with Jotta.
